This question has an endless answer. Every one supporting science is not wrong and all those supporting religion are also right. Actually according to my point of view science and religion are two totally consistent fields --- two different languages, telling the same truth. Science speaks the modern language……delivering the ancient message. Religion can’t keep up with Science because it is not able to prove what it has said. The sunsets of Religion have been reduced to wavelengths and frequencies by Science. Medicine, electronics, communication, space travel…… these are the miracles about which we study today. These are the miracles which we proclaim as proof that Science will bring up the answers. But Science doesn’t hold anything sacred like Religion. Science kills a baby in a mother’s womb to do some research work. It shatters God’s world into smaller and smaller pieces quest of meaning, but all it gets is more questions. Religion is also not wrong from its point of view. Science tells us how to make dynamite but it doesn’t ask us if it is a good or a bad idea. Here, Religion checks in, reminding us to consider the moral implications of our action. So here we conclude that Religion and Science are both correct from their point of view. The debate between them is ultimately endless.

because science has hard evidence for it's knowledge. Religion just has dogma.

Science is willing to change it's position if new evidence comes up. Religion is not.

Science is repeatable by anyone. (If you have the right equipment) Knowledge on religion generally is not.
