Basically you can take all of those and get down to a couple different beliefs, Abortion, most christians are against it but Some liberals are pro choice, another hot topic, homosexuality, only liberal christians say that is acceptable, the rest are against it. Another issue is Women Pastors, the liberal and Charismatics say it is acceptable for a women to be a Pastor, the rest will not allow a woman to be a Pastor. There are some differences in doctrines with all of these you mentioned but our core belief that Jesus is the only way to Heaven is believed by all or at least most. Each one of these groups believe there way is the right way, I personally am a very Conservative person, old fashioned, those ways served our country well for a couple hundred years, this country was started by very conservative people. Now we have more crime, than anyother country in the world, 4000 abortions a day, May God forgive us, You have to decide where you stand, what did your parents believe, grandparents, they have years of wisdom. God Bless YOU!!

There are 3 basic type of christians: Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestant.

Catholics were the first big group made official throughout Rome by emperor Constantine. When the Roman Empire split the two churches also split eventually, creating Eastern Orthodox (Google "Great Schism"). Protestants are the christians who don't like the pope, the catholic institutions and would like their own personal bible. This movement started in the 1500s with Martin Luther. Protestant denominations have eversince been as many as leaves on a tree. Various protestant denominations have differing views, many of which you posted up there.

Non-traditional catholics are usually called heretics. Although non-traditional catholic sounds a lot better. The catholics are the ones who follow the Pope.

Fundamentalists are those protestants who want to stick to the purest possible form of biblical law. They usually overdo it.

Liberalist Christians are basically just soothsaying protestants. Suuuure God loves gays, care to give a donation?

Evangelical Christians are the protestants who think it is very important to spread God's word. They are behind christian involvement in American politics.

Charismatic Christian would be a christian with 15 or more points of charisma.

These "labels" refer to the variety of beliefs within Protestant and Catholic Christian religions. No one can properly define these terms because each person defines them differently and there is no governing agency putting out a clear definition.

Possible Examples;
Fundamentalist: 6,000 year old earth

Liberal: 4.5 billion year old earth

Traditional Catholics: Pope as head, hold closely to Vatican regulations

Non-Traditional Catholics: Do not abide by all Vatican regulations and beliefs. (i.e. priest can marry)

Evangelical Christians: Usually about the same as fundies. They are not liturgical in their worship style for the most part either.

Charismatic: They believe in "speaking in tongues" and perform modern day healing miracles, etc.

Again as you can see such definitions can be very vague and change from person to person. Many people call me a fundie because I believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of God even though I do not contend to the 6,000 year old earth.

Feel free to Email me if you have any specific questions. Again definitions range from person to person. There is really no denotative meanings to each of these "labels"

There is a great loss in someone that cannot see the truth and tells others to do things without actually doing it for themselves its called preaching. Everytime they preach they force the devil to themselves and they cannot handle the truth so they buckle and run always. :)
