If you think of it in a logical sense, the Devil has many many books in his library.

Basically after he was cast from heaven, according to Christian scripture, the Devil's abode is the earth, his inspiration was whispered into the ears of many, and many evil acts were perpetrated on his behest. It's kind of like that Rolling Stone's tune, Sympathy for the Devil. He has see many great things come of his ill will.

There is a touch of evil in every person, and we have the power to listen to it or choose good. There is no need for him to have a book because there are so many people willing to tell you how to be bad already.
