Depends on the job. Most applications for employment state "except traffic offenses" in the questions about arrests or convictions. If you are unsure, ask the potential employer.

That depends what the job is and how many you have. It also depends on whether or not you are honest about them. If you disclose them on your application you probably wont have a problem. Traffic tickets arent that big a deal unless you are applying for some kind of driving job but they usually dont do background checks.

As she said, it depends. A persistent history of speeding, loss or suspension of license, DUI or something equally serious may well have an effect. The every few years overdue inspection or other minor offense should have no effect.

It certainly will if you need to drive as part of your normal work day, such as making deliveries. Even if you don't need to drive as part of your employment, a bad driving record makes you less desirable than someone with a clean record. If it comes down to you and someone with a clear record, they may choose the other person.
