don't let him run teh roads where he can gett eh road kills or become a roadkill himself

punish him when he does, say "no" and take it away from him. watch him when he's outside, and make sure he's not picking anything up, if he trys to, say "no" and pull him away. you may also want to try looking around where your dog goes outside for anything before you let him out, or keep him away from the street. good luck!
