What do they use to make pesticide that they spray on our fruits and vegetables? Thanks

Many common pesticides are made up of organophosphates. They're bad for pests and people because they are very neurotoxic. They prevent the release of acetylcholine from its nerve receptor. It's like pushing a button and not letting go (because your hand is stuck to the button).
