Yes. Assuming it has not been frozen, stored in the desert, or embalmed, It will start to rot, and turn into liquid mush inside first.
Since all the 'exits' from the body still exist, this liquid will come out of the nose, mouth, anus, urethra, etc, along with any traumatized or bitten areas.
It smells just like any other rotten meat, only worse, because of all the garbage humans eat. If you smell it, you will never forget it.
An embalmed body [ all the circulating fluids such as blood and lymph are drained and replaced with embalming fluid ]will not decay the same way, but molds and bacterias will work on the flesh in a different, slower way.

Yes it can, it can leak everything from congealed blood to various fluids that are to do with decomposing tissue that can therefore only leak from a corpse. Think of when you buy fresh meat, or even frozen, from a butchers, when you come to cook it, you have to rinse it as juices have run out, the same happens with a human body, the more advanced the decomposition, the more liquids there will be as the organs start to putrefy and then liquify. What gets me is how can someone store a body for 25 days in the Portuguese summer heat when every inch of their lives is being scrutinised.

A thinly veiled Mccann question. It depends really. Was it left some where hot and dry with someway for the fluids to be carried away? It could have mummified. But if left for 25 days at a normal temp it would be oozing all manner of gross fluids, and outwardly have the consistency of soft cheese, and heaving with maggots. Then again, it was in a fridge it would have been whiffy and oozy and leaking a bit, but not too gross. If it was in a freezer it probably would have been unlikely to have much leakage, as corpses take a long time to defrost.

Of course it can! When a body is placed into a coffin, it decomposes over time. Quite a long time. Given that the human body is made up of 80% (ish) fluids then it would be natural to assume that a body would leak fluids until it was all shrivelled...

Alright you guys yes. Here again we are dealing with the relative so we must do a little common sense math. The human body is mostly water so lets say our object ways 70 kg. How long does it take to evaporate approximately 70 kg of water at room temperature? You do the math.

Where was it stored? It could leak after that time.
