my good friend, who's really clingy, has started to be more aggressive in holding my hand. i hate him for it. so whenever he tries to, i just freeze. i let him hold my hand but i dont react a bit to send him the signal that i dont want him to be more than a friend. i actually like him a bit BUt with his history of one night stands im doubtful of his intentions. i think he just wants sex. he's a good friend and friend of my friends. i dont want to ruin our group friendship because of him, i dont want to hurt him either. what should i do?

I think you should slowly cut him off. Like go from talking or texin him everydai 2 like twice a week, don't dog him out or treat him real bad just show him that your realli not instreated in him and keep distance with out making him feel out of the group

your friendship is over. He wants sex. Maybe b/c your friends first he actually is looking for a serious relationship, but probably not. The only chance you have to get him to stop and stay on good terms is if you help set him up w/ a girl he finds more attractive than you.

Tell him kiddingly to back up off you. Then when he looks at you to see your reaction give him the look of death. Definitely stop giving into his aggressive tactics to be clingy. Don't hold his hand, don't go out with him alone, etc. If he doesn't get the hint tell him that you won't be his friend anymore, that should bring him back to reality.

Haven't you learned by now that subtlety is wasted on us guys? Don't 'send signals' - he's not going to be receiving. Just tell him flat out you don't want him, you don't like him, you think he's disgusting, etc. He'll get the hint.

Talk about comitment. Say you want like 8 kids. He should back off. That scares them.
