Many seem to enjoy flaunting their knowledge in front of each other, as in, "Are you familiar with Isaiah 36:12?" (a favorite verse of mine, by the way). Then they may take pride and pleasure from their agreements or arguments over context and interpretation.

There are others among them, however, that subscribe to the old adage: "Know your enemy." They are here to gather "evidence" for their case against others of our kind. They monitor us while we ignore them too often. Militant Bible Camps are out there -- organized hate groups -- and, in accordance with their prophecy(ies) that must be fulfilled, they watch and wait for the moment they are conditioned to believe will come, when they shall be persecuted and must, again, raise their swords in the name of their god(s).

It is, perhaps, symboliclly significant that the only two animals that are given the power of speech in their mythology are the snake and the jackass.

I am here because I am Christian and want to answer Religion and Spiritual questions.

Why do athiests and non believers come on here if they don't want to hear the truth or maturely answer peoples questions? Clearly you are here just to bash Christians and leave rude and sarcastic answers which is a waste of everyones time!

Maybe because most of the people who have the pushiest of ideas concerning spirituality act like they don't have a spirit. I beg to differ. R & S believers come to this section because of the name. All others should try the non-R & S section. May God Bless U.

You hear other people's ideas of spirituality and don't necessarily believe those ideas. Why do Christians have to agree with other religions if you or anyone in particular (whether they are religious or atheists) don't agree with Christians? Also, you are implying that we do not want to hear . . . we do want to hear and share our opinion. If you are free to do it, why can't a Christian do it?

Please stop making blanket statements about an entire group of people. It is the same as racism, sexism, ageism and any other ism I can't think of right now. All the ism's are bred out of ignorance.

Oh, and by the way, if there are Christians on this site who do not want to hear other people's ideas of spirituality then maybe they want to come on here and ask questions to other Christians. Just one possibility...

i'm a Christian and an ordained minister in between the substantial denominations. I understand your question and please settle for my apology for the impolite and hateful comments you have in simple terms continued. particular Christianity is a faith, and particular we preachers do attempt to get our flock to appreciate that faith is going deeper then going to church and making a music and doing all the psychical issues one thinks a Christian could do. it incredibly is a dating with Christ, yet additionally a faith. thank you for forgiving the impolite comments. i be attentive to that they meant properly, yet did not be attentive to a thank you to respond to. I many times boost this appropriate element in my sermons on occasion. We as Christians could stay in accordance to what we declare and that i agree that by capacity of going to a communicate board like this and asserting issues like Christianity isn't a faith, yet a dating with Christ is unproductive and does make people who say it seem as though they have no understanding of scripture or what actual religions incredibly is. Christians could admit that Christianity is a faith without forgetting to have a dating with our Savior. once I say Christianity isn't in straightforward terms a faith yet a dating with Christ, i'm attempting to awaken drowsing Christians. i'm hoping no on In my church comes right here asserting issues like that and attacking an straightforward question. God Bless

what is freely given to us.
we want to freely give to others.
for when we share what we have in wisdom truth, ect.
MORE is given to us from the Father.
and the truth we recieve set us free
surely it will set others free..who are CALLED by our Father to be His child.
some christians think ALL people are CALLED.
some are not CALLED into his Fold..at this time.
maybe next decade? or ?? who knows.
it is the Father who bring you'all to us..
yet..again..some christians are taught
religion of RULES..vs .being LED by the spirit of GOD.who is glory, power and love..in his presence in long life, good health and great wealth..of course if the children don't know about their inheritance..they stay in poverty..spirit..soul,.body..as well socially and financies.
as it is written..no man can come to the father..but through Christ..that is why He is the DOOR..the way andthe life.
man can not live by earthly bread and wisdom..alone
MAN live good, ect..by the words of GOD..that we'ver learned and practices.

Well, myself being a Christian, I am always interested in hearing about other peoples beliefs... or non-beliefs as long as its done with mutual respect.

I'm a "liberal" Christian, but I can't see any other way to be. But that is a whole other story! :)

Regards

I "hear" other peoples opinions all the time. I simply don't happen to agree with some of them. And there is nothing that says I have to. Boy, doesn't that just gripe the snot out of you?
