Use a gentle face wash until your skin calms down. Cetaphil is fragrance free & gentle.
You can use a cool face towel as a compress and then apply aloe vera to the affected area.
Skin care guru Paula Begoun recommends using a homemade toner:
"An ideal after-shave product for men would be an aspirin-based topical product that uses additional potent anti-irritants. Aspirin is a very effective anti-inflammatory agent for irritated skin and is able to alleviate the redness and razor bumps/burn. Take one or two aspirin tablets, dissolve it in about two tablespoons of water and then apply that to the face with a cotton pad." http://www.cosmeticscop.com/learn/art.asp?ID=152
Some shaving tips to avoid razor burn:
1) Use a thick shaving cream or gel designed for sensitive skin. Avoid formulas containing menthol, camphor or other skin irritants.
2) Use a good razor. Gillette Excel & Schick Quattro both are excellent.
3) Shave after a warm shower so your beard is softened.

1. wash over your legs with cold water for a moment before. it'll not only get you a closer shave (after the goosepimple's've gone obviously, that shouldn't take long to happen, don't try it while u've still got goosepimples or it could be painful!)
2. NEVER dry shave - mega irritation
3. Keep your skin well moisurised to avoid irritation like this
hope this helps

you need to use a new razor. use 2 when you shave if you have to. This will keep you from getting the irritation in the first place.

Hun! calm down. this is not any longer a great deal. in case you have a style of lotion that's no longer Russian. grab it! Then take a washcloth and slowly get it damp with Luke heat water. First cleanse your legs with the washcloth and a few cleansing soap. (cleansing soap bars are favored.) Then wash that off. in case you have any lotion as properly the different style be conscious a skinny layer of that. And in simple terms dry it somewhat so it does not get throughout your mattress and room. Then redo that interior the morning back. If the inflammation continues to be there, then in simple terms wash your legs and need for the superb. solid success! <3

Wash first, then use a little skin lotion after. You can also apply skin lotion before applying shaving cream to make the razor glide over your skin.
