I'm a Christian, and I don't deny that I'm related to other life on earth. I mean, humans are like a chromosome different from chimpanzees. I'd say we're related.

But I don't understand your question regarding this spirituality forum.

Because Christianity is about living a spiritual life.
Where do you get the idea that we deny being related to all other life on earth? We live, breathe and bleed just like you.

FYI - Just because we do not agree with your views of science and evolution does not mean we deny being related to life on earth. You are making a poor assumption, designed only to justify your hatred and pride. What does science and evolution, or not believing in the existence of God, have to do with spirituality... unless you are making a "religion" of it? Get real! There is a living God, regardless of what you want to believe. The only difference between us is that we know this Spiritually, and you don't..

We are related to other life on Earth, insofar as we are all creations of a loving God. However, we humans are not animals as we are the only creations with a soul and created in the spiritual image of God.

I am a devout catholic, I have not denied relation to all other life on earth. That's a generalization. I believe we all affect each other - including nature, the earth, all living things, all people. We are all reliant on each other. Without air, we couldn't breath. Green plants, vegetation changes our carbon dioxide into oxygen, and vice versa. We need water - thus rain, the seas, the oceans, the clouds, and osmosis are a constant cycle / plus our own bodies are composed of a vast majority of water. We need companionship in different forms, thus we have access to pets and other animals.

Ok, enough ranting. Hope my info helped you.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, I pray for His Unfathomable Mercy for all sinners of the world. May all who respond here be kept in His Mercy and guided into the shelter of His Love. Amen

A valid point (some of it). The christians who conveniently forget about the spirituality part of R&S should justify why they are in a spirituality forum. I seem to remember something in the bible about keeping away from spiritualists.

I'm Christian and believe that we're related to all other life on earth. I also think that God is present in all living things, including plant and microscopic life forms.
