Most people have what they are calling left "brained thinking". I don't believe that kind of thinking puts similarities together very well. Due to the information age, they are predicting a mind shift for the world. Even though we see all the chaos in the world, the news is not reporting the change going on, with more and more people turning to spirituality and to love. (There are many videos on youtube.) To the Jews a name was a description of a personality, so when the scripture says, "there is only one name by which men may be save", name would be understood to mean the character and reputation of Jesus, or truth, and one of the many characters and names of God, is love. More and more people are being baptized in love, looking for the truth and the way. With the mind shift occuring and a larger one predicted (a new personality comes with it), aren't they in affect obeying the command. I have to think that as night follows day, they can't fail to realize that the personifiction of those qualities are Jehovah and Jesus. And yet are personifications and names what we worship or the living being that a name cannot limit? Names were for our benefit and guidance, and not for names to be worshipped in themselves, not for us to argue over words, as Paul said. I see the possibility of the actual fulfilment occuring before the literal recognition of God and his Son, a fulfillment of both going on now.

The prophets always predicted salvation and redemption at the worst times, while false prophets predicted doom. And the outcomes, like that of Ninevah, always depended on what people chose to do. That's us folks. It's so clear to me, I just don't know why people don't get it that it's going to depend on what we do. Our responsibility has always been to be stewards of the earth and I suppose that would include the people. If science and spirituality weren't coming together now, the whole scene, I outlined, would not seem realistic, but so many are saying science and spirituality are coming together. This video is one way, but in more fundamental ways also. It's a real study, but I have a few sites listed under my profile and so many sources under favorites on my computer, it's sinful. If His will is to be done on earth who will do it. The right brain says, us of course. The left brain says God. If he is going to do his will and he wills it, that still leaves us with, what will we do? Just what we've been doing, until we realize we are the one suffering the consequences. Then maybe we will recognize that we have to do his will, and ours, which is to make the earth a garden. The whole thing starts with a change of heart.

I am facilitating it, like you, through my website, answering questions and working on these type of questions full time. I am just about giving all I have, except my computer. A computer an Internet access are the sandals and robe of Jesus' day.

If there were "one loving creator father god" that "made all humans", that creator would be visible to all mankind and would not need to hide in myth. There would be no need for a preacher or pastor or priest to explain it's presence. There would be no exhorations about "hell and damnation", no "sin", no deaths - or at least - no violent death. There would be no wars, no famine, no poverty.

The "god" of anyones bible or torah or quran - or any other "religious" text is, at once, a benevolent and loving "father" and a vengeful "god" easily displeased that will rain down retribution on anyone who doesn't follow the rules. If such an entity existed, there would be no need for these texts, for threats of "burning for eternity" or "72 virgins" or "rapture" or anything else.

Religion was born of ignorance....the ignorance of people - in their time - who didn't understand the natural world nor the physical world; who looked for supernatural or mystical reasons to explain that which they couldn't understand or explain.

I'm not saying "believing" is necessarily wrong but it certainly should be open to question. It absolutely should not be used to control the mob...and that is what it is today. Mullahs, Imams, Priests, Pastors, Preachers, Televangelists, Fundamentalists, Rabbi's - they all have their own agenda...and their flock is complicit.

The notion of a universal brotherhood of all mankind is not an idea from Christianity.

It is true that God made us all, but that makes us his creatures, not his children. To become a child of God requires being born again by water and the Holy Spirit in baptism.

As Jesus explains in John 8:42ff, some people are children of a different father, an enemy of God. They don't belong to God.

Jesus taught a simple rule to distinguish God's children from the children of this world: You will know them by their fruits.

Cheers,
Bruce

When all of mankind shows brotherly love for one another only then can a Brotherhood be realized. I try to facilitate this by demonstrating love to others. Of course learning about love begins in the home. As parents, we should teach our children compassion, empathy, and love.

We already are; When we have been Born Again into the Family of God, we are become brothers and sisters in and to Christ Jesus.

Coming down through 42 Generations from Sarah through the virgin Mary Jesus collected the genes and DNA of every nation that was ever wed into the Judean bloodline. (Ishmael and Isaac, Ruth and Boaz, Bathsheba and King David for examples).

When Christ shed His Blood on the Cross of Calvary, everyone, who from that point to this day, that accepts the sacrifice of His blood, joins that family tie. That is why Jesus is the one bloodline for all mankind. Regardless of race, creed, or nationality. We are all one in the body of Christ.

When people stop being jealous and start accepting ppl for their differences. It takes every kind of person to make the world go around! Someone somewhere seems to always think they're better than the next man although not every person was raised or offered the same privileges. I'm willing to vow to be equal and fair to everyone I see without reservation... who else is with me?Just love thy neighbor!

I would give it 7 years, and discount certain religions of the east, and belief systems which include lack of free will. Many will facilitate this change, I am just one of the flock.
