When Jesus died, he was only dead three days. When firefighters die, they do not resurrect. Jesus says he only saves people who worship him. Firefighters save everyone, regardless of their religious beliefs. Jesus is omnipotent and omniscient, so everything is easy for him. Firefighters are regular people, so saving people is very difficult for them. When people do great sacrifices like saving each other at the expense of their own lives, they do not resurrect and become divine kings. This makes their sacrifices greater.

No. Jesus died so that we all my live. If it we not for Him, we would not have eternal life. Firefighters are great in their own rite, but there is none that can compare to Jesus. May God Bless U.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are not more heroic than Jesus.
When Jesus died he was only dead three days and firefighters do not resurrect. In time they resurrect also. DEAD is dead. The son of the Most High God HAD to do all that he did in order for us to be saved. He paid the ultimate price for our souls which go into eternity. Flesh and blood won't. He (Jesus) left a wonderful realm by choice to pay the dept we owed but we couldn't pay and came to this realm of mud, guts and blood. It wasn't an easy life and though many a person can become a firefighter there is NO one else who could do what Jesus did.

My fleshly life maybe saved by a firefighter but my eternal life was saved by Jesus my savior, my brother and my friend.

But Jesus can resurrect the firefighters and give them life again, as well as all those wanting it, and firefighters cannot give anyone life. Those people they save will die eventually, but Jesus can give everlasting life. No firefighter can do that.

A firefighter might save your mortal flesh. Jesus can save your eternal soul. Many firefighters are saved by Jesus and will have an eternal life with him.

your are right firefighters can save lives- but only physical lives- not eternal life. Sorry. Which is greater sacrifice? Jesus who was the perfect Son of God who took upon Himself the sin of the world. Firefighters are wonderful, and yes, I do honor them for what they do every day- however Jesus is LORD!!!

Wow, I think that through their sacrifices they will be rewarded in heaven, even on earth heroes are prized but, to take a pot shot at someones religion shows that you lack the ability to be a hero or a leader. How many firefighters do you think would like this question? And by gods standards we should be doing our best to help our fellow man.

when on earth did Jesus say He saves only those who believe in Him, He saves EVERYONE, it is up to us to accept His attempt to save us..it's like a firefighter asking a woman to come out through an apartment wondow to escape the fire, but she refuses..she will die because she declined his rescue.
Though firemen are heroic, they DO NOT compare to Jesus AT ALL, Jesus saved every single person on earth, in the past, present and future, what fireman can do that??

Wow... no firefighters are not more heroic than Jesus. Although their job that pays them is to save lives... u never know what they do out of uniform or in their personal lives to say they are holy. Nobody made them do that job just like soldiers... they signed on the dotted line!

I highly doubt it was easy to take the punishment for everyone's sins.

While firefighters may save your temporal life, Jesus saved your eternal one.
