How do you feel about being grouped with countries such as China and Russia?

Do your countries impose atheism on believers, the same way that communist countries do?

Scandinavian countries have complete freedom of religion. However, because they are amongst the most developed countries on Earth, there are relatively few religious believers. It's not state-coerced in any way.

Damn it ppl.. we are atheists. Derek has the right numbers. Take that from a Swede who actually lives in Sweden. When you say that 87% are protestant then you're talking about people like me. Until 1995 people automatically became a part of the church when they were born. That does NOT make someone religious, less than two percent of their 6 million members actually go to church. Do you grasp that number? It's one of our greatest achievements; Sweden is the most atheist country in the world. Personally I love atheist countries. But atheism isn't essential for a country to be great.. but at the same time I would rather die than to live in a religious country.. or being married to a religious person.. at the same time I respect whatever people believe.. as long as they don't try to convert me. I hate religion, I despise it and everything about it. Naturally i would never say that anyone in real life but the standards on yahoo aren't exactly high. Look at all these morons.. ******* unbelievable. Bet you think Sweden is socialistic too.. sigh. You probably think Scandinavia = Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland or a random combination of those. A safe bet.

I think Iceland has the highest population of atheists per capita. And also one of, if not the, lowest crime rates in the world.
