No because that would honor him, which would be a really dumb thing to do. He's all talk, probably dying in a cave somewhere (I hope)

And why get the day off? The only reason people get the day off for work is because something is a holiday that a lot of people celebrate-- and the office would be near empty anyway so it's easier on management. Most people have a minute of silence and it's done. It's not a day of celebration.

It's already named "Patriots Day".

It is not a Federal Holiday so no time off with pay.

And my personal opinion of your question is you have done a great disservice to those 3000 innocent men, women and children who died horrible deaths 6 years ago today. Do you not have compassion or is your heart made of stone?

Perhaps you're too young to really remember that day-the bodies falling to the ground, the planes hitting the buildings, the buildings collapsing....or are you muslim?

No. Osama bin Laden is NOT WANTED for the 9/11 attacks. Look at his FBI Wanted poster and see:
http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/laden.htm

There's a reason that Bush is not worried about finding him.

In answer to the first part of your question, I truly think that we shouldn't forget the solemnity of this day because of the many people who died in the rescue and recovery efforts, firefighters, police officers, paramedics, common people, etc. In answer to the second part of your question, I don't believe we should have a day off because we must do our part in moving on and let the healing process begin.

Definitely not. I think it should be a national holiday out of respect. If every dead president gets a holiday then why not 9/11 - but I don't necesarily believe we should get it off - that is DISRESPECTFUL. You know?

It should be solemnized with prayer and remembrance of the fallen. The name you mentioned will never be in any holiday, from now to the end of time, but will instead be cursed and cast down by all mankind which comes into the new earth. His death will cause both wailing in the east, and great joy in the west.

Holiday? I'm sure those that lost their love ones DO NOT consider this day in any way a HOLIDAY. What's the matter with you?

Why should we honor a terrorist by declaring a day after him? No, we shouldn't. We don't have Pearl Harbor recognized as a day off, no, we shouldn't have 9/11 off, either.

how I provoked the 9-11 attacks.

No, that is giving him credit for a terrible disaster. I would'nt want to have to say his name every year either. I don't think we should all have off work with pay, but maybe the family members that lost someone should.
