I thought the war wasn't "against Iraq", it was against the former Iraqi government?

I am on team humanity and worry that the USA has created a huge mess for itself and for Iraq.
The biggest problem the USA has now is that there is a power vaccume they created in the region, and that the Iraqi people are vounerable from Iran, if the US were to leave.
Iran has already claimed that they are ready to fill the void, so now America has a moral duty to stay in Iraq and protect the people who want them out and who are killing our soldiers.
If the US leaves and Iran moves in, Sunni's will be killed in the hundreds of thousands, it will be a Genocide, and the Sunni's hate the US presence in their country.
It was a huge mistake.

both because usa protecct people from bombs but iraq are trying to get rid of usa cus they have invaded iraq and made things worse...dont forget the brittish

I'm a citizen of the USA and proud of it. I wish for peace on Earth, goodwill towards man. I pray that God will keep our soldiers safe and return them to their families as soon as possible.
I also wish for peace for the Iraqi people. Their lands have known hatred and war for so long, that I am uncertain peace will ever come to them. But I never give up hope.

I'm with Riegan. I'm from the US..but am against the ridiculous quagmire and the WMD game that was played on americans
