I have had dobeis for about 17 years.
They tend to be sort of stinky dogs.
I try to aviod most dog treats as many contain sugar and that can make the smells worse.
Stick with one dog food and find one treat. No table scraps and not alot of treats.
When switching to a new food give them a month or so to adjust to it and hopefully it will calm down some.
My last male weighed about 100 pounds and he was OSD (one smelly dog) he could have peeled the paint off the walls.
If he got people food or anything with to much sugar he could make you leave the room. Many dobies are like that.
Sounds like you are feeding a good dog food and that will help over the long run. Sometimes the food are to rich for the dog and it makes them fart but over time it should calm down and as his system adjusts it hopefully will get to be less of an issue.

Dobies are known stinkers, LOL

I raw feed all my dogs. It is easier if you live in the country and can raise ducks for meat and eggs, rabbits, goats for milk, and beef.

Really do your homework on the dog foods. Iams and Purina aren't the only ones that put garbage in their dog food. The main thing is for the pup to not grow too fast as their joints won't grow as fast. Any vet will tell you to buy the best puppy food that they carry, if they sell it in their clinics like in the US. They get a kickback so I don't buy dog food. You'll just have to do some homework on it.

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Just try and stay away from chicken and fillers...my Dobe used to fart until I eliminated Chicken. He is now on Nutra Lamb and Rice and seems to handle it well.

Congrats on the rescue... you will have so much fun... they are a beautiful breed!
Hugs and kisses to the new baby!
Have fun!
