I hust heard on the news, they want to limit/ban fast food resturants. Has everyone forgotton that we live in America. A Free country! It it everyones fault but yours because you cannot stop eating at fast food resturants everyday? Yes i think it is bad for you and so is cigarettes but they didn't stop selling them. They just put a warning label on them. Why don't they do that at fastfood? WARNING! You may be at risk of getting fat if you cant' control your food intake. Yes I'm only 5'1" and weigh 90 pound. I don't have any worries of getting fat. Skinny runs in my family but I do know if I ate fatty fried food all day that I can die of an heart attack. So I don't. Or maybe I should and when i die my family can bring a lawsuit against Mc D's because I couldn't resist the temtation. Fast food is just trying to make a living too. I'm not saying don't eat it ever. Just control your intake.

I'd sign that.

To go into depth... Yes we live in capitalist america and everyone should be able to sell what they want so long as it's legal.. Yes people should be responsible for their own actions.

What about when someone is brainwashed, hypnotized or under some sort of mind control, do you think they should be responsible for their actions then?

What if a drug, say PCP makes you violent and kill someone, whose fault is that

What if you're prescribed a legal sleeping pill but it makes you sleep walk to your car, get in, drive and run someone over, whose fault is it?

Point is most people can't think for themselves,
and need help.

This is what happens when government gets too big and too powerful. They've already banned the use of trans fat in a lot of places like New York City, and in Ohio the bars are going out of business because you can't smoke anywhere except in your own home or your car. Thank the liberals for it -- they scream about civil liberties but they push the agenda of use of government power for any perceived social evil. The Republican attitude is let people do what they want (as long as it's not against the law) and let them assume the risk. So don't believe what you hear from the mainstream liberal media. A vote for a Democrat is a vote for big government and less civil liberty.

I am overweight and I agree with you.
It is my own fault I do not eat more healthy foods and exercise more and I certainly wouldn't blame a fast food restaurant for my issues.
People need someone to blame, "its not MY fault I'm fat, its McDs or Wendys" - - that is ridiculous.
In moderation, you can eat at fast food places.

I agree. I also hate shopping now cause it takes me forever to find stuff that isn't low fat, low sodium etc. McDonalds fries suck now to thanks to changing to that low trans fat oil.
