Hey, what I want to know is why she is so touchy??! If you are probing to get answers from her past (whatever) history....... and she has something to hide.......? And she won't talk about it, that makes you even more curious, cause you may have heard thru the grapevine........and you want to know the truth from her own mouth. I think she oughta come clean and talk things out with you once and for all, clear the air, get it over with, and then move on. If you both are that serious about each other, then there shouldn't be "secrets" between you. It ensures trust between you. I would think that from your perspective, red flags are poppin' up. I also think that you are somewhat intuitive, and I wouldn't repress wherever that takes me.

Diligent and thorough in inquiry or investigation; "a probing inquiry"; "a searching investigation of their past dealings"

Most people consider this type of thing an interrogation and don't enjoy it.

It means you keep asking the same things and she doesn't want to be asked again.

look it up maybe she is using the word wrong but it sounds like you are bugging her for an answer she cant or doesn't want to give you what are you trying to find out?(maybe she is not comfortable talking to you about certin things)
