We had an indoor picnic.

We were supposed to go out for a picnic. But it rained. So I went to his place. He had set up the food, Wine, cheese, crusty bread, fruit, etc. in front of the fireplace. Afterwards, he put on an old black and white film, that was perfect for the day, "The Little Princess", starring Shirley Temple.

This was our first date and it was perfect, impressive, and very romantic!

My fiance buys me cards for no reason, at least once or twice a month and writes the sweetest things in them. For two or three dollars I would rather have these cards that i can keep forever and reread as many times as i would like, than flowers that will die or being taken out to a dinner which is over two hours later.. ;)

My previous boyfriend invented "The 12 days of Eri" So before my birthday for 12 days he would do nice things for me. He came one day to my job and gave me flowers from his back yard, he gave me a full body massage the next day, then he gave me an ankle bracelet on the next, then he bought me a not expensive watch that I wanted, then he cooked me dinner, so on and so on...It was perfect cause he made my birthday into a Holiday!! He didn't spend much on me but having his undivided attention for 12 days was great!!

I love to cook (I'm going to culinary school next year) but I've never been able to afford nice cookware. My husband bought me a nice, Teflon coated, oven safe skillet for no reason at all. I liked it more than diamonds!
The point isn't spending money, it is getting something that means something to her and doing it for no other reason or expectation other than just because you love her.

I've always been the romantic one. Everyone I've dated has not! Still waiting for a woman to treat me the way I treat them.

My husband (He passed away) used to walk behind my desk chair when I was sitting working and, ever so gently, kiss me on the top of my head. It was so tender.
