Rich get richer. Poor get poorer. Working class become poor. Middle class become working class.
That's the trend now with mass immigration and will continue to become the trend with an open or official NAU.
Wonder what Canada thinks.

Only if the USA made all the rules and laws and made Mexico a state of the United States. Then the illegals could say where they are and work in the state of Mexico.

Hello? Who the hell is Jerome R. Corsi?
Come on - NAFTA is not about open borders it's about free trade. You may think that free trade is evil (or not) but it doesn't involve a dissolution of borders it involves a dissolution of tariffs, taxes and quotas that limit trade.
Besides, sorry to rain on Mr. Corsi parade but even if that is the secret Bush agenda did he ever stop to consider that neither Mexico nor Canada would go for it? Don't take this as an anti-American slight because it's not. Just as Americans are happy and proud to be Americans, so are Canadians happy being Canadians, Mexicans are happy being Mexican and yeah some Mexicans are in the US illegally but about 90 million of them aren't. So trust me when I say this - most Mexicans do not want to be assimilated with the US.
To have a free trade zone does not mean that all the countries in that zone are now one. Even if NAFTA was to progress to the point that it started to look more like the EU I think that the free movement of workers (as in the EU) is many years away.
Free trade and open borders are not the same thing, Corsi is an idiot for suggesting it.
EDIT: Paula Revere, free trade has nothing to do with socialism. I would argue that complete free trade would be capitalism to the extreme. Corporations move jobs to where they can find the cheapest materials and labor so that they can produce goods for the lowest cost. Then move those low cost goods to higher markets (tariff free) and sell them at the highest price. That is capitalism.

No... and I question the validity of the site. Why would Bush take all the advances he has made in tightening the boards with Mexico and Canada if he was just going to open them.

Fvck No! Mexico has all the natural resources that we do, and yet it reamains a third-world $hit-hole. Why should we allow them to RUIN our country too? My advice to Mexico, is take all the May-Day protesters and teach them to IRRIGATE YOUR DESERTS! We did. Now we have Palm Springs and Las Vegas. We can't fix Mexico's problems. Only they can. But not here... there!

Sorry to rain on Mel's parade but free trade is one of the 45 Communist Goals from 1963. Just another word for socialism.

The US would have a huge cancer on its underside if we did. Why don't each of us anglos just take in a illegal mexican and raise him as our own cause thats about what we are doing now. America may have seen its better days unless we wake up and take action.

Mexico I am sure wants open borders. Do you really think the rich white Mexicans are willing to pay the type of taxes Amerians pay. I do not think so.

This is disturbingly sick.
What this means is that American Citizens will be totally dominated by a 3rd world culture.
This isn't globalization, it's handing over an economically solvent, educated nation to one that is not. And let's not even start dividing up the Nukes!!
