We just got a schnauzer/poodle mix a few weeks ago. I hate using real names for dogs and I also don't like using verbs for names..... ie. cuddles, snuggles. My kids and I looked up native american Indian words that described our puppy. One basic one is "Neche" which means "friend". What better name since a dog is mans best friend? I also really liked the name "Sikari" which means "sweet".

you don't say if it is a girl or boy but I just got a mini-pup in June and I named her "happy" . I thought about "love, peace, chloe, champagne, and lots of others. I also looked at a baby book of names to get ideas. Good Luck with your puppy... mine brings me so much "Happiness" lol and I did pick the right name for h er

if you google search dog names and click on "dog names-favorite puppy dog names" and then chose a letter you can find a whole lot of really good names you can choose from.

Call him Fluffy or Toughy. Pudding, Cherry or Steffy might do well.
