Actually more species are being discovered, and endangered species are doing well. Warmth is good for life.

Be conscious of your waste, recycle if you can, but don't fret over it if you can't. One person can't make a difference.

Enjoy and discover the planet!

I am saving the planet.... I am a nuclear engineer. You need to understand that atmospheric physics is very complex, and our few thousands of years of records doesn't give much insight to the millions of years of climatic history of the Earth.

So, really we don't know much about Global Warming in that sense... there is just a lot of speculation. However, I am not implying we are not damaging the Earth. Do you know how big land fills are?

Whether it is causing climatic changes are not, do you really want to breath in these pollutants. Fossils fuels are a thing of the past and pun intended. Alternative resources are much more efficiently. Nuclear technology is very promising, if perfected, we could sustain our energy demands for thousands of years... enough time to find a better energy source.

All you can do is reduce, reuse, and recycle. Try to educate your self about nuclear power to support it. It might sound bad, but a lot of things we enjoy today wouldn't be possible with out nuclear technologies. Radioactivity is used in a lot of medical procedures and stuff.

Actually, there is LOTS of stuff you can do to prevent global warming. Driving less is huge, ride a bike, walk, carpool, or take public transportation. Some other things are buy local, compost, start a garden, insulate your house better, host a clothing swap, bring your lunch to work, use a re-usable coffee mug, read a book instead of watching TV... Pretty anything you can do to reduce your consumption will help. Manufacturing release greenhouse gasses.

There are lots of simple things that everyone can do to lower their impact and lots of them will save you money too. For many more ideas check out the links bellow.

Carefully review the historical behavior of those who try to "hard sell" Global Warming. Are they not hypocritical when they consume and pollute with the rest of society? Do they fly around in jumbo jets trying to promote their agenda? Do they cruise the cities in limousines, Escalades or Hummers as they flaunt their obsessive compulsive disorders? Are those who are most vocal in regards to Global Warming prancing across Red Carpets with an entourage of body guards and attendants who aide in their quest for Oscars and other self endulgent awards? Are they producers of films that critique our president while they gorge themselves to the point of obesity from their own excessive consumptions?
Do they cruise the world in luxury, searching for the poor and ignorant in order to preach Global Warming statistics and promote conservation and healthy living while they cover up their own indescretions. Do they drive gas guzzling autos and deposit their own share carcinogenic contributions into the air we breath? Do those who preach Global Warming drape their bodies with diamonds and jewels that were mined at the expense of those individuals who bleed, sweat and break their backs in horrid conditions for pennies a day? Do you not see the hypocritical nature of those who try to "hard sell" global warming, to those who they believe to be ignorant and un-informed? Certainly be good to our earth, and use your own best judgment as to who you believe by carefully evaluating the actions of those who are preaching anything to the world! Wisdom is measured in years......you are on the right path! Just watch closely, the actions of others and learn from your mistakes!
