I am 15 years old and I always come in here asking questions regarding my Faith and unanswered questions in the Bible that I would like to know. But it seems like everytime me or one of the other Christians on here ask a question yall ridicule us. Yall claim yall don't care about Christians..and also yall say we are idiots, and also that we are unintelligent and how we annoy yall...so why then do you guys come here? We have an environment in this part of Y!A for Christians to discuss things among other Christians...yet it seems we get more idiotic answers from athiest. If you do not believe and God and you have no inention to believe in God...then why do you waste your time coming here?

Codi, you know how the Devil roam about like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour, that sounds like these prowlers you are asking about. I asked a question a few days ago and only 2 people said they believed there is a GOD. You generalize. I care about people, some of them happen to be christians some aren't. I, an atheist, am married to a christian so perhaps you'd like to revisit your assumption.
Also, next time, try the resolved questions category as you are probably the millionth person to ask it. You really deep down want to know why I'm here - the answer is there.
Edit: Oh and where does this say it is the christianity section? You do realize that christianity is one of many religions and not just the only one like ~some~ christians seem to think.

We don't waste our time. We come here for free and open discussion. Granted some people are rude and crude and have no manners. Granted also that some of those bad people are non-believers and some are believers. Unfortunately, that's what you have to put up with in a free society.
But if you want to ask Christian questions and get Christian answers and do not want to be bothered by people who believe otherwise - then there are lots and lots of Christian only websites and groups for you to try out.

Your from the South, here have some lemonade, No how-bout some ice tea, there. Now listen you really have to watch yourself, when your posing a question here you can be crucified for grammar mistakes let alone silly questions. Many here are on a mission to understand the inner workings of the ignorant mind. Now you need to hit some of the video images offered to you, this is a great opportunity for you to learn something real. Here let me brush the dirt off your jacket, and get the hair out of your eyes. Here some ice for that fat lip. Now you take this as a learning experience, it could have been much worse, Ya I know people can be vicious, Its a mean world and you need all the knowledge you can get to survive in it. You can never know enough, so stay cool and learn from this encounter.

You must be new here. Well you better start developing thicker skin and patience, because some Atheists (not all!) are only here to mock us Christians and post insulting questions. Over time, you'll get used to it. Just remember to turn the other cheek. Jesus went through much more persecution that what we have to deal with on R&S. (Most, if not all, are secretly here to learn more about God, but they can't admit it...peer pressure and all.) The best way we can help them is to pray for them. Unfortunately your religion affects everyone in the U.S, possibly the world, so we have just as much right, if not more than you to be in here discussing things. And by the way YOU ARE ONLY 15! Your views will change greatly over the next 5 years or so, trust me!

Bashing us for calling you "unintelligent" isn't a good idea when you keep saying "Yall". But I think you knew that.
This place isn't for Christians but for people of all faiths and religions.
Why am I as an Atheist here? I find it fun to piss Christians off and I do enjoy learning about other faiths other than my own lack of one.

i am not a Christian (admittedly not an atheist either) but i am interested in religious and theological topics. my BA minor was also in religious philosophy.
i think it is interest and knowledge that qualifies someone to speak on a subject, not their beliefs.
also, you might note that this is the "religion and spirituality" section, not the "Christianity and spirituality" section. you might want to listen to some of those atheists you disagree with...after all, how are you going to know exactly what it is you disagree with if you can't keep your mind open long enough to understand what you are opposed to?
