Here is info on how to work in Canada. You must find a job first, and then apply for a work permit. You must be a skilled worker.

If you just want to live there and not work, you can live there for up to 6 months at a time, and then you have to cross the border into the US (for even 5 minutes) and then you can re-enter Canada.

You CAN have both US and Canadian citizenship, as I do. Applying for citizenship is a big deal and takes years, as it would in the USA.

Immigration Canada (government website) is your best bet.

If you just want to go there for some time, you can go with a visitors visa I think for 6 months to a year. Just check that to make sure because you also have to keep your citizenship current in America. If you want to leave America for good and become a citizen of Canada then you will have to take the exams and tests they require to become a citizen of their country. Be sure you know for sure if you plan to do that because sometime if you rechange your mind, you may not have it so easy coming back to the country you left. Then you will be considered an alien of America. My brother has lived in England for 5 years now with his wife. He comes back here to renew his citizenship every so often and just has a visa over there. The Immigration office is a good place to start asking. Good luck

It doesn't matter. Thier rules don't apply because they're not even a real country.

You'll have to ask Queen Elizabeth II, since it belongs to her.
