Haha thats funny that we both have husky's and they can both eat corn on the cob off the cob. He loves corn so I tried it one time and he actually understood what to do! Husky's are such smart dogs!

Amanda is absolutely correct. While your dog may have mastered chewing and swallowing the corn, it CAN cause intestinal blockage and that can cause your dog a lot or problems. You need to stop giving the dog corn cobs.

It's not going to be funny any more if your dog gets sick.

I'm not sure about cantalope.

You shouldn't think it's funny. Often the skin of fruits can poison dogs because of pesticides used and some seeds/pits of fruits can kill dogs. Also, corn can cause blockage in dogs and is hard for them to digest. So no, I don't think it's funny. Stick to dog food since you obviously don't know what you can feed dogs.

My dog loves cantalope, but not with skin. She also loves to eat tomatoes and drink the left-over milk from my cereal.

BOTH of my dogs will eat whatever I am eating at the time. It could be bananas, green beans, peppers (both mild and hot) tomatoes, pickles, melon - you name it. They'll eat it - simply because I am eating it - and they want me to share.

They do however, have preferences - but truly, if I'm eating it - they want some of it.

And of course, they don't get chocolate.
