I went to Nassau Community College and paid for it on my own, but I didn't pay my last payment of $500. I moved to Florida and now I moved back to NY. I want to register to go back to school this December and they won't let me register because of this past balance. But I just got approved for Finanical Aid...can my finanical aid pay this for me so I can go back to school?

Yes you will have to pay it and you should. You owe it don't you?

Financial aids are term specific and is NOT retroactive. You will have to meet your obligations before you can register.

Besides, you agreed to pay the amount when you did whatever you did to aquire that 500 dollar payment. You need to honor your commitment rather than trying to find a way to avoid it.
