Yes. I wish you the best of luck on your assignment:
1. A Christian is someone who believes that Jesus Christ came to this world to show us what God was like and to die for our sins. Christians share traditional affirmations including the Virgin Birth, the Trinity, the Resurrection of Christ from the dead, the future resurrection of the dead, the life everlasting, the Return of Christ, and the final victory of God
2. First it would help to know what society you are from. I live in the United States and can only speak for that society. Christians are in the leadership of business and government. They have built hospitals, nursing homes, day care centers, shelters for the homeless and other ways of helping others. The Sunday School was originally created to educate the poor and give them a better future. This concept that everyone deserved an education became the foundation of our modern public school system. Many of our major universities were built by the church. This includes Harvard and Yale, Northwestern University in Illinois and all Universities with the Name Wesleyan in their title. Judao-Christian values are at the center of our government. Even our Declaration of Independence contains the understanding in the New Testament that governments were instituted by God for the protection of the rights of the people. There are many more contributions that Christians have made to our society over the years. The Red Cross was originally a Christian concept and the Salvation Army has been feeding and helping the homeless for many years. By the way you asked about Christians, the same could be said of Judaism and frankly the Muslim faith.
3. Again it would help to define your society as I can only speak for the United States. As we shift from a nation that was dominated by the Christian faith to a nation that has become secular, Christians need to be leaders in helping this change happen well. We need to protect from the sins of the past (Salem Witch Trials, KKK, etc.) and open the doors of the future. We need to feel less threatened by others who are different. In our government all people need to experience true freedom to live in ways that don't disrupt society. As Christians as still in the majority it is our duty to protect the rights of others. We need to continue to find ways to work for the betterment of society. We also need to work for the development of ethical laws within developing sciences. As it becomes possible to clone human beings and prolong life, Christians need to be an important part of the dialogs on what is right and what is immoral. As an example, we have raised the years that a person will live without improving the quality of their life. So we have people living in nursing homes who have ceased to have a meaningful life. We need to support science and encourage their work on diseases like AIDS, Alzheimer's Disease, etc. This is just a rough look at what Christians can do to help our society.
By the way, I agree with the two who suggested that this needs to be your own work. If the assignment is to conduct a survey you have some answers. While I disagree with my atheist brothers and sisters several of them have answered your question and their answers need to be part of the survey.
If your assignment was to answer these three questions, then take what we have said here and use your own thoughts to write a meaningful paper.
God's blessings,
Pastor John
Addendum: Moonlit Hemlock - I apologize for any Christian organization that rejected you. Pro-life is far too important and all should be welcomed who want to help.

1. They way I define christian would be someone who is devout in the ways in which they go about practicing religion. One who believes in a God and that God sent his seed Jesus Christ to earth to die for our sins.
2. I don't really "view" christians in our society soley because I cannot tell whether a person is one or not just by looking at them. But, as a whole, they have a big impact on the way our government is run most of the time by using their values to justify laws.
3. Christians can help our society by spreading peace and love instead of religion and hate towards certain groups (gays, ect.). Instead of protesting and sending hate messages to gays, they can show one another that we are all one and should love each other.

1. A Christian is someone who has accepted Christ in his/her heart as a personal savior.
2. It depends. Some Christians are nice folks; others aren't. But we are not perfect.
3. They can help by being more of an example of Christ; in that way, people would be more likely to become Christians themselves.
P.S. Learn to spell "school" correctly.

Forget about Christians. They are of the same breed of people who have always thought they knew the answer to God.
Remember Abraham's faith?
Abraham believed that God justifies the ungodly.
Who is ungodly? All of us would hopefully agree to that.
Remember the verse from I John: This is the spirit of the anti christ, to deny that Jesus has come in the flesh.
Well what does Jesus mean? We should know by any quick study it means Salvation.
Salvation has come in the flesh.
Doesn't say Salvation came in the flesh, as if in the past, does it?
The time has come. Does that mean time has past?
No of course not.
Salvation has come in the flesh means just what it says.
The faith of Abraham's belief that God justifies the ungodly is made manifest in the Salvation that Jesus completed in His death and life (the death of being a human and life being ressurected in each of us).
You won't hear this being peddled on a book shelf or in some temple made by human hands.
The real church are people who believe in Abraham's faith whole heartedly, believing in God's justification of all mankind and living that love for their fellow man, especially at their own peril.
Remember the real christians were always martyred by the self seekers (religious).

They might be a little more willing to accept you if your answers are your own, and maybe if you spell "school" correctly - that might help, too.
I mean, the first 2 questions are asking how "you" define and feel about Christians - not me or anyone else on R&S.

What should I say when I go to a high school interview? What would you like to attend this school? They ask. I am applying to a private high school. My interview is soon. I know that one of the question, "Why would you like to attend this school?" I don't what to talk about. Please advise. Answer: Having manners, they will test you anyway. Good luck.

1. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ
2. I veiw them as condemning me to hell when I try and help their pro-life organisation, considering all my opinions as secular, or calling me and my family demonworshippers.
3. Help? Stop trying to convert people.
"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

I second Christina. The whole point is that they want to see how you feel and how well you're able to put thoughts together . . . if you give a canned response from someone else, they'll know.
