Yes, because he lived by the whole "if someone slaps your right cheek turn your left cheek so they can slap that one too" theory.

Pacifists do no longer threaten to return with a sword and take out all the non-believers and sinners. Matthew 10:34 - "I come to no longer convey peace, yet to convey a sword" there is not any way anybody can interpret that to declare he improve right into a pacifist. additionally: Luke 22:36: "yet now in case you have a handbag, take it, and likewise a bag; and in case you do not have a sword, sell your cloak and purchase one." Jesus in this verse advocates using a sword for self-protection applications. back, no longer a pacifist. Then for sure, there is often the undertaking of that darn fig tree.... good to make certain you ELJ...wish all is properly!! (((((HUGS)))))

Only in the pacifistic sense, I'd imagine.
The most violent thing he did was drive animals out of the temple by means of a whip and flip over the money tables... even then he didn't hurt anybody (well, the animals may have been a lil disturbed).
Seems pacifistic 2 me.
Anybody who reprimands his sidekick for chopping of a man's ear and then re-attaches the ear and opts to be taken by the mob that came to ultimately have him executed fits the description of a pacifist in my book...

Not the day he turned the money changers tables over in the temple. He lashed out at them for defiling the house of the Lord! Cheating people at the temple did not go down too well with him! I think Jesus was peace loving but he is passionate about some things! He had a fire that burned for the Lord. He showed us what pure worship was. Now, if we can only follow his example!

What is a pacifist?
The belief that disputes between nations should and can be settled peacefully.
Opposition to war or violence as a means of resolving disputes.
Such opposition demonstrated by refusal to participate in military action.
I think he would oppose war. He called peacemakers the children of God. I think he acknowledged that there would always be wars or rumours of wars. He knows we fall short of the ideal, and need to defend our homes and families.

Matthew 10:34: "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword."

Except for when he flipped over the money changers' tables and chased them out with a whip. :) Other than that, yeah.

Yes but he could loose his temper and use the whip when he thought it was required.
