Hey, you can be a bodybuilder any time you want. If you want to have a professional bodybuilder's physique, you better start working out 6 days a week, get a nutritionist, and have good genes. Then you can count on several years of work.

You are all ready a body builder if your working out to gain muscle, however i assume your question is when you will start to see big gains

Your gains will depend on many factors. 1. Diet, eat alot of high protein low fat meals (Order yourself some whey protein) 2. Consistency, Keep training and train hard most successful body builders train 4-5 days a week for 90-105 minutes a session. 3. Stun your muscles, dont do the same workouts for each muscle each time, change it up and stun your muscles for faster growth. 4. Proper Technique, Its not how much weight you use but how you use the weight.

When you have reached your plateua i would recommend taking supplements. In my opinion BSN products are great. Use Nitrix, NO Explode, and Cell mass and you will see incredible gains. Good luck and keep training

every other day is the perfect routine for building muscle. its important that you have a rest day in between because this is when muscle repair and thus grow larger. nutrition is the most important factor in body building because in order for muscles to grow bigger they need the right sources of fuel. a great book that will really help you towards your body building goals is called "macrobolic nutrition" and you can find it on amazon.com. it takes about a month for muscle tissue to build so it depends what your exact goals are.

technically you aren't considered a bodybuilder until you step on stage for a competition.

Many years, friend. You can speed up the process by taking "supplements."
