BUT. I really have a problem. I mean, Ofcourse, I'm not going to drink or do any drugs, but then again I can't pray because I don't know Arabic! And I personally believe in both Jesus & Mohamad! Is this okay? Will god accept me as a good human?

Being a Muslim means submitting yourself to Allah. Believing in Jesus (PBUH) is ok, but only as a Prophet, and not through the eyes of the trinity. If you believe in Jesus as a lord, than you have removed the whole concept of Islamic belief, that there is no God but Allah. Plus, it would be considered "shirk" (which means associating partners with Allah).. and this the only sin Allah says he will never forgive (unless you stop doing it of course).

To me it seems like you are just confused. You don't need to know Arabic to be Muslim that's one thing, you will just need to memorize the surah's in order to pray.

I suggest you talk to both a imam and priest and decide which ONE religion suits you best. If you wish you can talk to me about Islam, and any questions you might have.

I wish you all the best

There is no compulsion in religion, right has been made distinct from error. (quran).

Seeking knowledge is a mandate for both men and women (At-Trimidhi)

Praise be to Allah.

I'm sorry brother but aren't you ashamed of yourself when you say I was born muslim and don't pray because I know no arabic???

Is that an execuse ???

What whould we say about the southands entering Islam everyday from non-arabic countries ...?

All of them learn Arabic at lease enough arabic that allows them to pray ...

What would we say about a guy like
Sheikh Khalid Yaseen ...
Sheikh Yusuf Estes ...
Doctor Zakir Naik
Sheikh Ahmad Deedat (May Allah have mercy on him)

All of them AT LEAST studied the whole Qur'aan inspite of their non-arabic origin ....

So my advice for you brother is ... LEARN ARABIC.

And as a muslim you should believe in both Jesus & mohammed with all other prophets (Peace be upon them) ... And jesus was just a prophet not a son of God nor the God (I'm sorry don't ask me how because even I don't understand such a concept although I read several researches about it)

And If you need any help feel free ro mail me ... and en sha' Allah I'll do my best to help you ...

being a good human is not enough to get into heaven.....if that is your eventual goal. A true christian only believes in one God and not 2. We are to worship him and pray to him alone. So I would say pick whatever religion feels better to you. I am not familiar with the muslim religion, but I would think that just because you don't speak arabic shouldn't mean you couldn't pary to whatever god it is that you worship. Remember religion is something between you and your god. How other people feel you should worship, shouldn't matter. Good luck on your quest!

No... that wouldn't be my perspective. I look at that as following: God has two distinct programs. One is pertainning this world, that is, it's earthly - Israel (judaism). The other is heavenly - the church (christianity). Then momhamad comes, says jews and christians failed and makes up his fairytale after slandering jews and christians to get all the credit. So I'd say it is like to brothers in a house. One (jews) don't recognize the other (christians) as true son and leaves the Father and the house, while the other (christians), the younger brother, knows very well that the oldest brother, jews, will someday come back to the Father's house and recognize his younger brother as a true son, since the Father is open-arm waiting for the oldest son to repent and be back. That will happen after the great tribulation. Oh... I alomost forgot this.... MUSLIMS AREN'T ANYWHERE IN THE FATHER'S HOUSE. They're just troll intrusives.

Being a Muslim or being a Christian has nothing to do with your actions and has everything to do with your beliefs in who God is. If you are a Muslim you believe that Allah is far off, can not really be known, and never came to earth, never had a son, and there is nothing in the Quran stating that you can know definitively that you can go to heaven/paradise. Christians believe that God is knowable - meaning that He provided a way, through reading the Bible and sending His Son and Spirit, so that you can know His attributes, characteristics, desires, etc. Christians also believe that God did come to earth. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, came to this world and died on the cross for your sins. God also states in the Bible that you can have assurance that you can go to heaven.

So, I say all this to say that Islam and Christianity, though they have similarities, are, at their root, radically different.

And to answer your final question - "Will God accept me as a good human?" Well, a Muslim will say that you have to believe that Allah is the only way and a Christian will say that you must believe that Jesus Christ died as payment for your sin and is Lord of your life. Both religions leave you with a choice and you have to choose one. Neither believe that you can ride the fence and get into heaven. (Which I'm assuming is what you desire when you asked the question of God accepting you.)

Personally, I believe that Jesus is God. He came to earth so that you can know God and have a relationship with Him. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for your sins (because you can not pay for your sins by yourself). I believe that if you have faith in this, and this alone, God will "accept you" and you will live for eternity with Him.

(Great question by the way! And thank you for the opportunity to share what the Bible says.)

I think the Bible clearly teaches that God will reject humans who come to Him on the basis of their "goodness." Humans must come to God the Father, admitting their sin condition and believing that Christ (the Son) paid for their sin in full on the cross.

Since Islam teaches that Jesus is a mere prophet without deity, I find no common ground possible.

Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God. That is a big sin in Islam. You can't be both. You are Muslim, but just confused, talk to your Iman.

Mohammad was a false Prophet. He created a religion mixing Roman Catholic teachings and a Bedouin moon god. Jesus on the other hand was God in the Flesh. So no you can not follow Muslim and Christianity at the same time. Sorry but you have to chose one way or the other. There is only one way to Salvation and that is through Jesus Christ, He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." Also is Allah is god would it matter to him what language you prayed in? Jesus was a Jew but we can pray in any language, because Jesus knows every language, Mohammad did not so he made his god as limited as he was.

God loves everybody no matter what they believe, because we are his children. Personally I find it hard to believe that you couldn't pray just because you don't know the right language to pray in. I believe that God knows all languages, and that he listens to everybody who wants to talk to him, and he will answer everybody in a way that they can understand. I don't understand everything about the Muslim religion, but I don't think you could truly be both at the same time if you truly believed and lived everything in both religions. It just wouldn't work out. Listen to your heart, and pray to be guided. you'll feel what's right.

You cannot be a Christian and believe in Mohammed as any kind of prophet. You need to know the facts of Islam.

Islam denies that Jesus is the son of God, that Jesus died on a cross, and that Jesus is savior. Christianity teaches that Jesus is the son of God who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only name under heaven by which anyone might be saved.

You cannot serve two masters.
