I have a huge assortment of music in my Real Player library that I occasionally use for PPT presentations. Problem is...I always have to haul my laptop with me to cue up the song to my presentation.

How do I (if I can) embed a song within a presentation? If this is possible, can I then cue the song (once it's embeded) to start at a certain point?

I am not too computer savvy, but I have taught myself a few things here and there.

Thanks for the help.

Just to make sure I am clear, I want to make sure when I play a PPT presentation, the music I add from my laptop will play on another computer.

That's my concern. I don't want to have to haul my laptop to work all the time to cue up the music from my Real Player library to my presentation. I want everything to flow smoothly in one presentation with one piece of equipment. I just want to insert my flash drive into the office computer, load my PPT presentation and have the music associated with the presentation play.

Hope this helps.

Insert
insert music from file (music stored on your computer)
choose song

On the right hand side of the screen, see the music added?
Choose begin after

Custom animation, allows you to loop the same song as long as the slides are being viewed (you have to input the total number of slides.)

File, save

Check by "view slide show"

File, package for CD

burn to CD

Many arguements and headaches first time I tried it. Contact my avatar if you have other questions.
