Many of them blame the devil. Many of them avoid responsibility by saying they are forgiven. I have a patient who says he will go out and get a job when God tells him to. So another way to avoid responsibility is to wait on God to show his will.

There is no way to "avoid responsibility". We can be forgiven of our sins but we will be judged by God based on how we live our life and follow His commandments.
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." Revelation 20:13
We cannot continue to sin and think that everything will be alright.
" What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." Romans 6: 15

Galatians 6:7 says "Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap;"
We all have to take responsibility for our actions. “Each of us will render an account for himself to God.” Romans 14:12.
Hebrews 10:26,27 says "For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but [there is] a certain fearful expectation of judgment and [there is] a fiery jealousy that is going to consume those in opposition."
Christians have to live up to God's standards for them.

NO ONE can avoid their responsibility, everyone makes their own choice, God will not Make you do something and Satan Can not make you do anything (only put temptation in your path) if you do it, it is on you and you will answer for it.
And as for us Christians, if we choose to keep sinning against God then our salvation is no longer ours and we must accept responsibility of turning away from Jesus.

Much of their religion is built upon avoiding responsibility. They blame the devil for any negative action (and yet can take all the positive for themselves). They also call some immoral acts 'holy' because 'god said so'. Examples include banning gay marriage under their religion. The bible inclues a long list of such responsibility dodging: genocide, murder, rape, and many other immoral acts are excused under god's command. If it wasn't commanded by god overall, there's still that devil to fall back upon.

Because I'm a christian I'm suppose to be perfect? If one thinks just because they are a follower of Jesus everything will be picture perfect and we will not fail has some big illusions on Christianity...A christian is no better than a non-believer and has the same issues and problems...Only difference is we have accepted what we are and have asked Jesus into our lives and for forgiveness of our sins....If we say we are without sin we are calling God a liar...The goodnews is we have an advocate in Jesus Christ who payed the price for us and all we have to do is accept it and allow Jesus to reign and rule in our lives...Its a step by step and day by day process and I hate to tell you but yes we will fail......just like all non-believers.

Why is this directed at us only?
Non-believers avoid responsibility too.

Their God forgives unconditionally. The only accountability they have is to "believe."
