Because the Eastern Orthodox never sponsored a Crusade against Muslims like the West. Plus, the Russians and Muslims have some informal alliance to protect against US aggression in the Middle East. The US has been contained in Iraq and cannot attack Iran like they've been hinting for the past 5 years.
The Eastern Orthodox have lived side by side with Islam for nearly 14 Centuries.

Actually it is not Islam declaring a Jihad. It is some Muslims from different countries who are quite radical. Most Muslims have not declared a Jihad and are very peaceful. The christian right in America has done more harm to world peace than most any other group. They despise any other religion, they hate gays, abortion, most anything of liberal value or creativity. They are proponents of the Iraq war and more than likely a select few were behind Bush and Cheney when they decided to perpetrate a False Flag operation against the US (9/11). The truly evil people live right in your own country. Your own Bush government.

Why isn't Islam declaring Jihad on ALL non-muslims?
The perversion of Islam by the radical extremists is saddening. Elsewhere in the Quran, the prophet Mohammed explicitly states that Christians and followers of Christ are to be respected and treated well.
I have several Muslim friends who are peace-loving people. It is a tragedy for me to see them picked on because they are stereotyped with the radical extremists.

They have and do still desecrate churches in the former U.S.S.R., I've seen their 'peaceful' coexistence. The nut-job muslims see Christians as idolaters and feel that it is their duty to destroy the icons of Christians. They also feel that it is a terrible apostasy that we believe that Jesus was the son of God.
