Hi guys,

I have a medical condition which needs me to eat a dish of vegetable salads (lettuce, in large quantity) per a day.

And, I find it most comfortable eating right before sleep, but I have to ask you first, will eating salads (with no dressing) right before going to sleep at night make me fat?

Thanks in advance.

no but it might upset your stomach and keep you up at night. getting fat is based on your total calories all day. so if you are overeating during the day and then eating a big salad it won't make you thin either.
wondering what kind of medical condition requires you to eat a big amount of salad

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Not a chance . Lettuce is basically water , fiber , a couple of nutrients and almost no usable calories .Enjoy your food by adding salad dressing to it because the calories you burn in your sleep will be greater than the calories from the salad dressing.

Anything you eat right before bed has some chance of making you feel heavier simply because digestion virtually stops while you're asleep. But if you're going to eat anything at all, you can't do much better than a good healthy salad....lots of fresh vegetables (easily digestible, high fiber, water-rich, and low in calories).

Absolutely not! No way! Not a chance. It is NOT iceburg lettuce, correct? Something darker, like Romaine, right? I have a feeling you knew that. Good luck to you, kiddo!!
