I was once told that if you can't do something with the Savior Jesus Christ sitting next to you, you shouldn't do it at all.

Yeah, I think it's healthy. Plus, if ur taught that sex before marriage is wrong, or u don't want to engage in such an action before ur ttotally ready to, then I think m@$turb@tion, is essential to relieve urges that God lets naturally occur to faciilitate sex. Just because they're therer, doesn't mean u shuld do something risky, like sex, so M, is just a compromise. U probably feel guilty because like most girls, u were taught that it was bad and icky, and unladylike from a very young age. U probably explored when u were a kid, and ur mom probably slapped ur hand away and told u that it was a bad thing to do...so u feel guilty for doing so now since u've never heard otherwise, but then again, here come those urges, and u found out that it calms them, and hey, it might even be fun. The guilt will disappear after a while, but just don't let others u know find out, they might judge...who knows.

You feel guilty because your parents, church, community educated you to feel guilty about touching your genitalia.
Look around you and see if there is an open, honest discussion of sexual issues. All young people who see embarrassment and avoidance about these things by their parents feel unecessary guilt as you do now.
Masturbation is healthy. It lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and most importantly for a woman, it teaches you what pleases you which will help you when you finally find Mr. Right and get married. Most men WISH their partners where a little more in touch with what their desires are so they can please them better.
Why would your Creator give you a clitoris with over 8000 pleasure nerve endings (5 times more than the penis) if it wasn't meant to be enjoyed?

Yes, stress relief is healthy and masturbation is the guilt and regret free manifestation of a completely normal and healthy human need.
You feel guilty because you have been told for years that sex is wrong & dirty & that god doesn't like it unless you are creating more of your kind.
Sex is natural
Orgasm is natural
If Adam and Eve had listened to god you wouldn't be here writing this question (for those that believe in that)
And there have been many scientific studies proving that both are extremely good for both your mental and physical health.

It is about as natural as breathing. But the powers that be want to control you so the best way to control the person is through the natural biological processes. In centuries past the only time a married couple could have sex was for the purposes of procreation, you couldn´t do it for fun, and you had to have a priest present. You could have all the sex you wanted in a church lisenced brothel, but sex with your wife only with a priest present. How much more controlling can you get. So they made everything that they could control a sin and you grew up hearing that most of your life.

Can not say I have seen anything wrong with it in the bible, not listed as any type of sin. I could not explain why someone would need to feel guilty but to tell you the truth somethings are better when multiple partners - two individuals - work at it together.

Yes it is healthy. Mainly because it feels good and does no harm to anyone else. You feel guilty because you have been influenced by the religious thought machine.

Don't feel guilty.
Don't dwell on it.
Do it only when you need to.
This is only for your self and to your self
The sin is sex outside of marriage. Your not having sex with anyone. Your masturbating.

The life of grace in the soul is removed, it is a mortal sin which means God cannot dwell inside you although He will remain beside you

Why not? It's not like YOU'RE spilling "seed" on the ground.
Guilt over it is not healthy. =0)
