swelling varies from person to person. your body just experienced a very traumatic event and the fever is the bodies way of dealing with it. if you are worried about the swelling make up an ice pack and wrap it in a towel and apply it to the area. the swelling will go down in a couple of days. when i got my feet tattooed they swelled up so big that they wouldn't even fit in flip flops for about three days.
good luck!!!

Not normal. I have never had a tattoo swell to that degree, and not burning. Sounds to me you be allaergic to one of the inks they used. Consult a physician and explain the problem

Yes, make sure that you keep it moisturized. A tattoo is like a scar and it has to heal. Also it goes threw its "ugly" stage, get ready.

Best if luck!

how swollen? they are still usually pretty warm to touch, but should not be swollen bad. If it does not go down or starts to hurt really bad you should go to the doctor to make sure its not infected. good luck.

the swelling is normal, the heat is not. it should feel 'burny', but should not radiate heat. go back to your artist and have him/her look at it.
