To give yourself reasurance, look up emancipation laws for texas. Its not as easy as answering yes to this question. If your not 18 you have to emancipate yourself which means you won't have your parents backing. You are just legaly making yourself an adult. And you can contact a lawyer for a free consult in this matter and he would be able to better assist you

Yes, It is fine as long as you are still going to school. that is the only thing your parents are responsable for. but once you are 18 you can drop out and do what ever you want, if you do just remember the conquences, you have made it this far why stop now.

yes. or at least that what a cop told me. i left home at 17, and my parents couldn't do anything about it. (i'm in texas)

yes. you can leave if you do , then leave carefully with a plan and a good method of supporting yourself. where you are going is more important than what you are leaving.
