Return to Pooh Corner from Kenny Loggins. I was the director for a school age child care program and bought a copy for every school that we had a program in . I have also bought copies for each of my nieces and nephews.

There are all sorts of Cd's to help you with your 1 yr old. Try Sesame Street, Disney or something similar. Yes the old Beatles are good. You might want to try the older Peter, Paul and Mary Cd: "Peter, Paul and Mommy". They worked for me. What ever you choose, keep the music and words simple, and enjoy this time; it will soon pass. This is the time for bonding that will never come again.

Anything by the Beatles is good for young kids. My kids love Yellow Submarine, All Together Now, and Octopus' Garden. But those are just the sing-a-longs. Early Beatles like I Saw Her Standing There, Twist and Shout, or All My Loving are kid favorties.

The Album LOVE. It was released in 2006. Its a compilation of many of the beatles best songs but the songs are mixed together. if you had not heard the song before you would not know it was mixed. It makes many of the songs better.

Stevie Ray Vaughn has some REALLY good songs...
Mama's and the Papa's...
Peter, Paul and Mary (they did "Puff the Magic Dragon")...
The old "Schoolhouse Rocks" cartoons had some terrific learning songs....I do believe you can find those on the web...
The B-52's (good bounce-y tunes like "Love Shack" and "Rome")...

We like the "For the Kids" one, also bands from Jacks Big Music Show - that has its own CD. Another thing I do is go on itunes, and imix's, and search things like "toddler" for ideas.
Also for a lighter paced one, the Elizabeth Mitchell/Lisa Loeb one is good.
