I know I need to get check out, I've had insurance before through my job. However, I no longer work there and I need to get checked out to make sure everything is good with me. However, paying out of pocket is very costly. So I need a afforable insurance that will help me with the pricing. Any suggestions?

As others have mentioned, your question is a bit confusing, but let's give it a shot anyway.
If you are not currently pregnant, yet plan on having a baby soon and simply want to get a physical to be certain that all is well beforehand, there is a simple solution.
Purchase an individual policy, (preferrably with a high deductible to keep your premium low, such as an HSA,) yet still covers annual physicals/gynecological exams without having to meet your deductible first. Your local Blue Cross Blue Shield, http://www.bcbsfl.com/ is a good starting point. With an HSA, (Health Savings Account,) qualified plan you may place funds in this account throughout the year to be used for medical care, tax-free.

Getting "checked out" isn't going to cost as much as the insurance. And you're not going to get maternity benefits (or infertilitiy treatement) anyway, through a private policy.

So you want to spend $300 for a $150 exam? Go to your local agent, ask for a quote for health insurance. Health insurance will cost $300 a month if you're 30 and healthy, that's just what it is. You get what you pay for, too.

Preconception would be Before getting pregnant . . .
so , If you are talking about In vitro fertilization (IVF) ,
I've found most insurance excludes it .

But you said 'get checked out to make sure things are good ' ? Which is Not IVF , so are you talking about prenatal care ?

The only way to find out for your area is to
Go through the yellow pages and start calling companies listed in the insurance section .
