Ah, my Poetic Agnostic friend! Perhaps some reading comprehension classes are in order. Some people love to jump to conclusions rather than walk to the truth. LOL

Pretty much. There was even an article in the Scientific American this month kind of talking about that. And how nonbelievers need to tone down their vitriol if they truly believe they have a cause worth advancing.

That is a good idea that goes for anyone. "Don't be not helping."

I understand why though, a lot of people who do not believe have a very personal stake in it, just as do people who do believe. If what is the most right to you is different in someone else, then those people are Wrong. So the immature among them and all of us will translate that belief into attacks.

From what I've seen on this site, we all pretty much have it down. Some, not many, have the restraint to not bash others. Most of us sooner or later cannot resist stepping on someone, especially if we think they're trolling or just being rude. It certainly isn't an atheist-unique practice.

Yeah and Christians have Atheist-bashing down to a science as well.

Let's leave each other alone, people.

Of all the atheists I know, not one (including me) bashes Christians.

If you were an honest person, and you spent any time in this category, you would see that a LOT of Christians (and other believers) spend a LOT of time bashing atheists.

But I guess you aren't.

Not just Christian bashing, darling. I'm an equal opportunity basher myself.

I do notice that atheists are quite good at bashing Chritians, but as a Christian I do not mock nor bash an Atheist. I may however debate their beliefs...but only by sharing mine, not by telling them they are stupid and foolish.

I am not an atheist but fundies deserve to be bashed. Look at this idiotic Christian answer:

"Ahhh, bless your heart! Not a Christian? Just a guess....um, no, Christianity isn't a cult. What blood is needed? He (God) sacrificed Himself to save his children, (yes, you, too). Burn people...what people are being burned? Souls, yes, if you choose not to recognize Christ and repent."

Now honestly, could you be any more brainwashed than that lady?
