My cat saphy was pregnant we think and then she started bleeding alot we think she may have lost her kittens then yesterday, coz we have 3 more fionn is the youngest still a baby as such. saphy started biting him by the neck trying to drag him as if he were a kitten and she was also crying alot and running round looking everywhere. Was she looking for her kittens she lost?

Probably. If Saphy was pregnant enough that you could tell, if she miscarried you would have seen some sign of it. It's possible the babies died in her and she can't get them out. Her hormonal instincts have kicked in and she needs something to take care of. For the sake of both your cats, take Saphy to the vet and let him make sure she isn't carrying a litter of dead kittens. That could be deadly for Saphy. I hope everything works out for you and your family.

Your cat lost her kittens probably she miscarried, she still has the maternal instinct to nurture young and that is why she is trying to take control of Fionn have you found any sign of the foetuses,or kittens, as you say she is running round probably looking for them? has she been out of the house she could have given birth some-where other than the house ?I would have a good look round for any signs she will get over the loss but I would still have a look round just to make sure!

Possibly, more likely general stress from the experience - what I'm more concerned with is whether you've taken this cat to a vet or not? Please tell me you have.
