the other day i was talking to the Lord and saying "what do i need to do? what do you want me to do?" cause things are not going right as far as jobs. this song came on right after i was through praying and the first words were " FALLING ON MY KNEES IN WORSHIP, GIVING ALL I HAVE TO SEEK YOUR FACE", the first thing that came to my mind was, i havent been giving Him all of me lately. all i been doing was looking at the moment and worrying. and playing on this stupid computer when i could have been seeking Him. i tell you before being on r&s it was ALL bout Him. my priorities was getting backwards. now i give God His time and if there is any left over then ill play a moment on this. before anything smart being said, i do look for a job, i even let go of pride to fill out applications where i say i wouldnt work.

Absolutly YES I believe God was speaking to you. I had something happen here at home with my daughter and I was very very angry. I was angry at my daughter, at myself, and at God. I had my praise and worship music on and I was praying (more like yelling) at God talking to him and all of a sudden a song came on and God spoke to me. I literally fell on my knees praying to my Lord and Savior in thanks for what He spoke to me. He softened my heart and I saw and heard what He wanted me to hear.

God speaks to many Christians thru songs, others, scriptures, and many other ways.

Wow, I really relate to what you are saying here. Yes, I do believe that God was telling you to seek him first and then He will bless you in your need. I too am without a job and a single parent. I have been very scared because my checking account is about to become depleted. I have no savings account what so ever. I have looked and prayed, but things have not gone well. A few days ago I was talking with my sister on the phone about my circumstances and requested that she put me on a prayer chain. She said she wanted to pray for me right then and when she did she gave me a word from God that He sees my need and that I am not to worry or be anxious; that He is already working in my circumstance and will provide for me and my children. Since then I have been at peace. I too had asked Him to give me something to hope in, and asked specifically for an encouraging word from Him and then my sister prayed and God spoke through her. Before that I had memorized this scripture. " Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your request known before God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus." Phillipians 4: 6-7 ...and He has been true to this promise and given me peace of mind and heart. God Bless You!

I doubt a song on the radio (and what are the chances YOU are listening to a religion station and thus would hear something like this? Pretty high I'd say) would have much to do with your god.

Personally, it sounds like you are taking random events and assigning them significance. It is a common flaw in humans; after all, we're (designed/evolved) to seek and match patterns.

However, I do think you worked some things out internally, like swallowing your pride and looking for those jobs you wouldn't normally do. That is kind of cool. I'm a university-taught computer expert and in the 2000 bubble crash I did things like package delivery and heaven knows what else.

Sometimes you do what you have to do to get by. And things will get better.

I love how selfish some people are about "God". If there really is an all-powerful force that has created the entire universe, all the stars we see in the sky, all the planets around those stars, etc., do you REALLY think he'd be worrying about one human being on the tiny 3rd planet from the Sun in the Milky Way Galaxy??? He has nothing better to do than try to get YOUR life on the right path???

You know within yourself what is right and wrong, and what you should be doing (that's who is really "speaking" to you). Follow your own consience. Treat others with repect. Don't give your life to worship of some imaginary being. Give your life over to helping other human beings who suffer every day.

Read 1 John 5:13-15. This is what God is saying to you.

The Lord said, if you are ashamed in me ,I will be ashamed in you ....he who believes in me shall live a life everlasting in the glory of GODS presence amen! He will answer you if you are listening! It sounded like he was giving you an answer and you now know what you have to do! Believe in God and put your trust in him!

Where you listening to a christian station?
If so, that would explain why a song with a religious message about worshipping God would come on.

This is one way God talks to us as his children. Sometimes we are too busy with our work or too busy worrying ourselves and nothing comes out of it.

God is speaking to us in a small, still voice telling us to lay all our burdens on him but we have always turned deaf ear to him.

CAST ALL YOUR CARES AND BURDENS TO JESUS TODAY AND LEAVE ALL YOUR WORRIES AND CARES TO HIM. LET HIM HAVE HIS OWN WAY. HIS WILL BE DONE. FOR HE KNEW EVEN BEFORE YOU WERE BORN THAT YOU WOULD NEED A JOB.

You are on the right path. I am going through a similiar situation. I just keep remembering that "ALL things work together for those who love the Lord."
