You can get all kinds of colors. I have a light red one, one that is pinkish/purple, dark blue, dark red. Almost any color is possible if you have a great tattoo artist.

I have a few diff colors on my tattoo. I dont think there realy is an abnormal color for a tattoo. My tattoo artist had tons of colors to choose from and could also make the color look diff by shadeing it

You can get some different colors. I would ask the artist if he can mix up two colors and get a magenta color or what ever ones you are wanting.

I have like a really bright, light almost creamsicle orange in one of mine. They have all kinds of colors and they can mix them too. I don't think you can get too exotic, but there is more than just one type of red or blue and so on.
Check out some tattoo sites for buying kits and whatnots. I am sure they will have some of the colors there.

A good tattoo artist can mix colors to come up with a color you are wanting, you may pay a little more but it is worth it for something you are going to have for a lifetime.

You can get any color you want, just be sure that the artist knows what he is doing so that he can mix the colors correct. I have a flower on my back & the picture was a green but I had him do mine in purple & majenta!

You can probley make it maroon-ish (not Maroon though maybe). I have friends with really dark skin and they look great in maroon kind of based colors. try testing it out by just having the copy of the tatoo on a paper and test some colors and put it against your skin.

You can choose whatever you want, it's all out there. Just remember that after it heals the color will be lighter than the tattoo looked before it healed up. All the colors you mentioned are readily available.

my tattoo artist mixed his colors to get the best shades. I have butterflies all up and down my back, and the shading is the thing I'm most complimented on.
