The culmination of being born again is to be baptized in water.

Your life will change as you continue to make choices that grow you closer to God and his people, the church.

To be born again is to first die. You decide to give up your life and everything you are to gain fellowship with GOD through Jesus finished work on the cross. You are then resurrected into a new person. A child of GOD free of the curse that the world is under. Some things change slowly and others right away. You are being transformed into the image of Christ Jesus. You are his bride.

You are born again when you follow Christ's commandments and are baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. Jesus answered this very question in John 3:3-7

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. "

Baptism by immersion is absolutely essential to salvation. When you are saved you "become a new creature".

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5: 17

You must remain in the Lord and
"be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." Revelation 2:10

Read Acts 2:37-38 and Romans 10:9-11 and you'll begin to see what it takes! The Scripture says that all things are made new in Christ, so you'll feel better knowing you have a chance to start over if you continue growing closer to God and serving Him each day.

Hello,

You would be closer to God spiritually and your past slate of sins wiped clean and have a chance at working for your spiritual salvation.

On the material plain, life will go on with its good and bad times, ups and downs, trials and tribulations. You will likely not have perfect health to 100, win a lottery, have a gold Rolex President watch, drive a Mercedes and live in a mansion.

Cheers,

Michael Kelly

By recognizing that they have broken God's law. The Ten Commandments show us our sin. The penalty for sin is death. Jesus Christ paid for our sins through His sacrifice. If we repent of our sins(know that they are wrong and want to turn away from them) and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ then we become born again. The Holy Spirit makes His home in our hearts. We have a home in heaven when we die. Your life will change in many ways but all for your benefit and the benefit of those around you.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Ask Christ into your heart and acknowledge that he died for your sins, and accept him as your savior.

You become born again by accepting Jesus as your savior. If you're sincere about it and continue to seek God (pray, etc.) your life will become more peaceful and happy (not necessarily easier, but you will be able to cope with problems better).
