3 days? Geez...that is like a freakin death sentence!
I would go with the drop them off by the barn, cats can take care of themselves. Although maybe you could post something on the internet, like on Craigslist.com.

I would try to find them new homes, lots of farms will take a couple extra cats as mousers if you ask them...dropping them off unwanted is just irresponsible on your part since you did not have your cats spayed in the first place. Put another ad up free cats, good mousers, ask the farms around there if they are interested and if that does not work the the pound is the only option left if you do not want to keep them and hopefully fix them so you don't end up with many more kitties. Leaving them by a barn does not mean they will be ok, just because they can hunt they can still be picked off by wild animals and starvation...it would be a long slow death.

If you don't ask the farmers, they'll take the animals to the shelter too, they are FAR too inundated by unwanted drop off cats and dogs to be sympathetic to a bunch of young cats. The cats won't know how to watch out for livestock and farm machinery, and the farmer doesn't want dead cats in his barn or fields.
My sister has a dairy farm out in the middle of nowhere. They take in to the shelter at least 20 dogs people dump off each year, and nearly all the cats too. City/pet cats don't know how to hunt, much less go after a full grown rat. They have their own barn cats who do the job nicely with rodent control.
Be responsible and take them to the shelter.

SPAY-NEUTER all of your cats. You are responsible for the kittens. Of course you must not give them to the pound to be killed, or abandon them. Talk to someone who owns a barn, or a farm , or a riding club, or a monastery, or sth. and ask if you can take them there. It is not right to just drop them off somewhere without telling the person who will have to take care of them, and in fact you should make sure there will be such a person, and that he will want to take care of them and not kill them or hate them. Put ads if you have to, or find a no-kill shelter.

Neuter them.
Your previous cats should have been neutered if you weren't willing to keep the kittens.
Do NOT drop them off at a barn, thats the reason there are so many strays.
Neuter, and sell them in a newspaper.
The pound may kill them in three days, but wouldn't that be better than being ran over by a tractor?
Advertise on lamp posts and newspapers, sell them.

Most towns have a magazine that will run ads for free. The one near me is called the Penny Pincher. If you know of one near you place an ad to find the cats homes. Check the neigboring counties to see what their SPCA rules are on how long until they put the cats down. If they have a longer period then drive them to that county. Also, Google animal rescue for your town and you will be suprised how many organizations that you don't know about.

get them neutered and then ask a farmer if he wants a cat. peaple will be much more obliged to take one if they are neutered. don't just dump them. make a roadtrip out of it and stop at every farm you see. people are not as heartless as you might think.

I would have them fixed first. Check with your local vet or humane society. Sometimes they give you a discount. Then find a no kill shelter

have them all spayed and neutered. here is a link that will give you clinics in your area that are low cost/free clinics
http://www.lovethatcat.com/spayneuter.html
if you want to find homes, try different areas. go to the flea market or farmers market, go to feed stores, etc. but please have the ones you are keeping "fixed" so you don't have to worry about them being "put to sleep" in 3 days
