think about it, we all die, we all go to the same place. a hole in the ground, a pile of ashes, or into a wall. does it really matter what we believe? i feel there is no point...

anthony b- no, i won't dry out for god when **** happens. i realize that no matter what, you can't change the past. if someone i know dies, then all i say is "too bad, move on" it happens. god has no control over that.

I don't really care.
If people want to be deluded, well, by golly, let them be a happy delusioned people.
I just want them to leave me alone and stop telling me how incomplete they assume my life is because I am free and am not bound by the chains of an unseen power that, apparently, seeks only to be worshipped and glorified.

Organized Religion Yes, FAITH NO.
Faith is never a lost cause though organizations can be. You have to believe in yourself. If there is or is not a God I doubt he intervenes hand's on.
Like the story of the man on his roof as the flooded waters approached him. He prayed for divine help. Few minutes later a boat arrives and he says NO I will be saved by my Lord. More time goes by, water getting deeper and he prays again. Another boat shows up..again he says NO my Lord will save me.
the man drowns. Now dead and in heaven, he has his turn with talking to God, and he says God why did you not help me your most devote follower, God's reply....I sent you two boats!! What more did you need?
See my point? Faith is good, but do not let it blind you to the obvious either.
Organized religion we ALL know that it can be great but it can also be very corrupt.
Hope that helps

Organized religion is a lost cause, however, it's necessary for beginners. It does not matter so much what you believe as WHO do you trust.
At your young age, you've already figured out that we all die... believers and non-believers... so what's the point? I hope you like the game of football because I'm going to try to make a point you can understand.

Well NOT all religions are the same, therefore NOT all of us believe the same things.
And if religion makes someone a better person, then of course it is not a lost cause. When it creates ignorance and hypocrisy however... that is when I start to doubt "certain" religions.

It sounds to me like you are having a crisis of faith. It happens from time to time don't let it bring you down. It is important not to focus on what happens to the body when you die, because it does indeed become worm food, but to focus on the spirit. The spirit is everlasting and has a yearning to be with God, even while you are alive. Have faith, and have hope.

Religion is a lost cause. It's wasted on so many who choose to shun it and mock it and spit on it. I am a Christian who lost religion a long time ago, I chose a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ instead. I feel pity for those that gamble with the thought that death is truly the end. For the wager of this bet will truly be Payable Opon Death.......

Man invented their God(s) along with their religious practices. Over thousands of years they have organized them to the point millions of people bought into it and now, even those who realize it is nothing but ridiculous supernatural make believe, they can't pull themselves away from it.

Death is just the next step to a wonderful experience and journey.
If you like to read history you should start with an easy reading version of the bible.
Not all will continue with the journey or adventure but many many are turning to the bible and have a chance to get back on the path.

Religion is man made rules and regulations. It's the relationship with Jesus that makes all the difference. He is the way to heaven. Don't accept the lies about rotting in the ground. Life is everlasting. Choose life. Choose this day who you will serve.
