I sure hope not. I find people like that to be a disgrace to the Christian faith. It's disheartening to see people calling themselves Christians and then misrepresenting Christianity in every way.

P.S. - Velvet, I've enjoyed many of your other questions and answers. I think you've said many things which needed to be said, and made several points which needed to be addressed. Very nice job. God bless.

Representative of all? I'd say average. We all have different degrees of learning, of writing ability. There's people on here that can put words together beautifully, their points are clear and well made. There IS a broad spectrum of beliefs. Some are incredibly well educated, and it shows by the thought their answers convey.

NO!!!
If you want an example of a born again look up Primero. He's total fundie and we will never agree but he is a good example of what a fundie CAN be. In a good way. He is a truely nice person.
That person is an extremist. He even drives the fundies crazy lol

I wouldn't call him 'representative' but people who act like that are major irritants to non-Christians and inspire non-charitable feelings towards the religion in general.

It's not the religion, it's the attitude.

Atheist here, and I haven't looked at the link.

Anyone who thinks one individual represents a lot of people who never chose that person as representative is not deserving of the designation "human being."

No one person is representative of any group of people.

The only person responsible for my actions is ME. Im not responsible nor do I represent other christians.

All that glitters is NOT Gold. All that call themselves beleivers, ARENT.

We dont judge any man by what he does in his flesh, but by whether he is still in Adam or IN CHRIST. We judge them by what they BELIEVE, not by how they ACT. Even christians make errors in judgement and still sin.

The focus should be on Christ and what HE did on the Cross, not the individual believer and his track record.
