I'm a Christian pastor, and I can't remember any historical event where Buddhists killed anyone on a large scale. Individual killings in Vietnam, for example, but those could be considered self-defense.
Hindus had a lot of trouble during the India-Pakistan split in the early 50's, and let's not overlook the Hindi ability to allow others lower in the caste to suffer and die.
People died today in the name of Islam, but it's been a long time since Jews killed because they were killing non-Jews (thousands of years) Secular Israel kills people who attack Israel, but it doesn't have anything to do with religion.
As recently as the 1980s, Christians killed Christians in Northern Ireland, because they were the wrong sort of Christians.
So, for most peaceful, of our choices, I'll go with Buddhism.
(But is the purpose of religion to be peaceful, or is it spiritual self-development and growth that brings us closer to the Creator?)
Godspeed you on your journey of discovery.

Probably Buddhism or Hinduism because not only are they non-violent towards people of other religions, they don't even murder animals. Well, some do now, but from what I learned about it in college in Religious Studies classes, they aren't supposed to.
Islam is obviously not it because aside from 9-11 and all the other terrorism, they beat their own wives! What nonsense is that!
Christians murder in the name of religion as well and it can't be Judiasm because of the whole Gaza Strip issue.
Plus, Jews have been known to kill in the name of religion in the past, as the Old Testament clearly explains.
So Buddhism and Hinduism are your winners.

It is not a question of which religion is the most peaceful.
It is the peacefulness that lies within each human heart!
Religions are like a ladder of understanding for man, that allows man to understand the Creator, and find oneness.
Buddhism is not a religion it is a philosophy.
Buddha did not create the path of a religion, he wanted mankind to find peace of mind.
Buddhism is a philosophy that goes hand in hand with all religions.
Without peace of mind, religion is worthless and cannot be understood!

I was awakened by the Spirit of God and since that awakening I have found peace and joy in my life that I have never felt before. I know without a doubt that the God I serve is a real and true being and he gives us peace through the storms of our lives. Jesus is the answer.

I would say buddhism
at least the monks but if we go with higher ups in all religions it is hard to judge b/c they are "supposed" to be peaceful. But all of them have been involved with wars where they lost many believers.

Do you mean which one is the most peaceful according to it's teachings, or according to how it's commonly practiced - there is a significant difference between the two.

The Bible only reconizes and compares two religions:
- IMPure religions: arrive defiled, and get worse-end.
- Pure religion: arrives undefiled, remains unspotted.
Five allegorically refers to five books of Mosaic Law.
Reading such gave Daniel night visions(night mares).
JC notably called such: "five in one house" dividead,
Three against two and two against three: Luke 12:52;
And clearified such a house is left, unto you desolate;
Which is to say OT Law an abomination of desolation.
Not to mention Rom 8 Law vs Law as Loser vs Loser.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Any religion without God is just a name, it's not about what religion you are and even what denomination. It is all about your walk with Christ, and I'm not talking about you go to church on Sunday, but a walk with him on a day to day basis. You don't pick him up when it is convenient for you, but you where him all day everyday.
