I don't see a question in there.
However, I side with your mom. You didn't say she told you to move - just to go get a job. That's the way things work. A parent is responsible to get you to the age where you can legally take care of yourself. Everything else is icing on the cake, so to speak. In other words, is just being done out of kindness. But there comes a time when you are costing your mom money every month, and if you are not going to better your chances of getting a job by getting a better education, then it is time to get a job to generate some revenue. Guess what - not only should you be getting a job, but should expect to pay a reasonable amount to mom every month to cover the cost of the food you are eating, the electric, water, etc. that you are using, as well as money towards repair of the house/apartment, gasoline money, money towards car insurance, phone calls, etc.
Because if she DID drop your stuff on the curb, you would have all of that to pay on your own.
You were being given quite a large gift (most people end up paying 75-80% of their income towards all of that stuff), so it is now time to start being a contributing member of society.

If you are old enough to drop out of school, then your old enough to make "YOUR OWN DINNER". You mom loves you so much she wants you to get up and start being a independant young woman or man. You mother want you to do something with your life. Usually in high school they prepare you for college and life. if you quite school what are you doing all day? At 14 years old or by 15 you should at least have a part time job. Stop complaining and get busy either getting a job or finding an apartment. I suggest finding a job cause you probably don't have anything saved up yet. Get the paper and start circling the want add. Your mom loves you and trying to have you do for yourself. You don't have to move out but you do need to find a job since your not in school. I'm suggesting something for you. go back to school now cause it's really important to finish it. Please go back to school i know it's boring but you will need it later in life. Get your diploma. You will thank you mom later in life if you do go back. Honest.

GEE, how old are you? If you dropped out of school, Your mom is right. Cook your own dinner and get a job. You shouldn't take advantage of your mom. Plus you have enough time to spend on the computer acting like a 12 year old. Grow up. What are you going to do when mom isnt around???

You don't say how old you are but if you're old enough to drop out of school then you're sure as hell old enough to cook your own dinner. If you hate living at home so much then why don't you do your mum a favour and move out. I'd love to see how you'd cope finding a place for yourself, keeping up with the rent and bills, as well as cooking for yourself and getting a job. You need to grow up and stop acting like such an immature kid. There are people out there with real problems, get a life.

You mom is right. You either need to go to school or find a job. It isn't their responsibility to support you forever. You choose to drop out of school, so it is time for you to go out on your own. If I were you, I would choose school. High school drop outs usually get paid at minimum wage and not much higher. The amounts you can earn go up as your education level goes up. Hopefully you will go back to school before it becomes too late. Get smart and get educated. God bless.

When you dropped out of school to get on with the next stage in your life, you should have realised that that would include supporting yourself. Your mother won't be here to support you forever. Better you learn now that there is no such thing as a free dinner.

think about living on the street and having nothing. at least you have somewhere to call home. if you want to do nothing for yourself, why should your mom? you are not a child and you made a choice to quit school and now you need to pull your own weight. find a job and youll have money to get food. she shouldnt baby you when you choose to do that. your lucky she hasnt kicked you out.

Maybe your mother expected more from you than dropping out of school. And judging from the way you spelled some words in your question, you should go back to school. She's probably just trying to show you there are consequences to your actions.

If you dropped out of school you need to make your own food! You SHOULD have a job so you can buy your own food. A parent's responsibility is to make a child productive and self-reliant, if you don't go to school and don't work you are certainly not entitled to any benefits!!!
